We are protecting
arable lands in Nigeria

Combating Climate Change: Fighting Desertification in Nigeria

How We Do It

We raise awareness about the impacts of climate change and desertification on Nigeria’s environment, economy, and society. Through educational campaigns, workshops, and outreach programs, we inform communities about the causes and consequences of desertification and empower them to take action.

We initiate and partner with afforestation and reforestation projects aimed at restoring degraded lands, combating desertification, and preserving biodiversity. By planting native trees and implementing sustainable land management practices, we particiopate in efforts to mitigate the effects of climate change, enhance ecosystem resilience, and improve livelihoods.

We promote sustainable agricultural practices that enhance soil health, conserve water resources, and increase resilience to climate change. Through training, capacity building, and technical assistance, we empower farmers to adopt climate-smart techniques such as agroforestry, conservation agriculture, and drip irrigation, thereby promoting food security and livelihood sustainability.

We collaborate with government agencies, non-governmental organizations, academic institutions, and other stakeholders to maximize resources, expertise, and networks in the fight against desertification and climate change. Through strategic partnerships and collective action, we extend our impact and reach, driving positive change at scale.
