Yusufu Turaki is a Distinguished Professor of Theology and Social Ethics. He holds a Ph.D. in Social Ethics (Boston University, USA) and is a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at Yale Divinity School, Yale University, USA; Double Masters in Theology and Ethics (Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, USA). Currently Professor Turaki teaches and researches at Jos ECWA Theological Seminary (JETS), Jos, Nigeria.

An ordained Minister, Prof Turaki is the Director, Centre for Study of Religion, Church and Society. Prof. Turaki is an author of several books, book chapters, articles, papers and manuscripts, in ethics, theology, human rights, social history and philosophy, culture and worldview, colonialism, Islam, African contemporary socio-political issues, and African Traditional Religion.
